About Bozeman Asbestos Testing

We provide accredited asbestos testing services throughout Bozeman, Belgrade, and the wider Gallatin Valley — nothing more, nothing less.

Accredited & Accurate

Testing is performed by Montana DEQ Asbestos Control Program accredited technicians and analyzed at an accredited lab. You get a documented, defensible result you can use for a permit, a real estate transaction, or your own peace of mind — not a guess.

Our Process

Every result is lab-verified using accredited PLM, PCM, or TEM methods depending on the service, so what you get is a documented, defensible answer rather than a guess. On-site sampling is typically scheduled within days of your call, and lab results are returned promptly once samples are submitted. When your report comes back, we don’t just hand you a lab printout — we walk you through what it means in plain language, specific to your project, so you know exactly what to do next.

Why This Company Knows This Market

Bozeman and Belgrade’s housing stock spans well over a century — from the 1880s–1930s homes in Bozeman’s Bon Ton, Lindley Place, and Cooper Park districts, to the modest north-side cottages built for railroad and cannery workers, to Belgrade’s own growth waves in the early 1900s and again in the late 1980s and early 1990s. That range of construction eras is exactly why testing matters here: a home’s age alone doesn’t tell you what materials were used or when, and this market’s mix of century-old and just-pre-1990s construction means no single assumption holds across it.

Bozeman and Belgrade housing spans well over a century, and Belgrade’s late-1980s boom sits right at the tail end of the asbestos-use window — which is why age alone doesn’t tell you what’s in a building.
Montana’s building stock has real regional quirks that matter for this work — most notably vermiculite insulation, given the material’s documented origin near Libby, Montana. That’s not a generic national talking point for us; it’s a genuinely local issue, and we test for it accordingly.
